DeAngelo is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and previous Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with over 16 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in psychology and his master’s in mental health counseling from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

Drawing from an eclectic therapeutic approach, DeAngelo integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to meet the unique needs of children, adolescents, and adults. His clinical experience includes facilitating substance abuse groups, conducting individual counseling, and supporting families through family counseling sessions.

At the heart of his practice is a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their challenges without judgment. DeAngelo respects diverse cultural values and empowers clients to make meaningful decisions guided by their own morals and beliefs.
